NCHFH’s ReStore is a retail store that sells new and gently used appliances, building materials, furniture, home decor household goods and more! The ReStore accepts donations from the public and in return sells these donations for 40% to 90% off of full retail prices. All proceeds generated from ReStore sales offset NCHFH’s administrative and construction expenses so that the organization can further its mission of helping individuals and families in need throughout Coweta County, Georgia.
The NCHFH ReStore has relocated to 216 Bullsboro Drive, Ste. B-1 in Newnan, next to Dollar General and Big Lots. The former location of 150 Pine Road is no longer in operation. The new ReStore is slated to open in early December 2017. Once the new ReStore opens, shopping hours will be Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. Donations can be dropped off at this location Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
New home construction typically takes 12 weeks depending upon the weather. Below is an example of a build schedule.

Children must be 14 years or older to help with building the house. Children under 17 cannot operate power tools, climb ladders or be on the roof. Note: With prior approval children under 14 may help serve refreshments and lunch.
Attending orientation is mandatory before filling out an application. Review the home selection criteria to see if you qualify for a new home.
Orientations are conducted at our ReStore located at 216 Bullsboro Drive, Ste. B-1 in Newnan. The schedule will be publicized in the community several weeks before each session.

NCHFH doesn’t build houses for anyone. We build houses for people in need, without regard to race. The U.S. Fair Housing Act of 1968 prohibits discrimination for the sale of a home based on race, color, sex, religion, handicap, familial status or national origin. The covenant that all local Habitat affiliates sign with Habitat for Humanity International also specifies that Habitat family partners are selected “according to criteria that do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed or ethnic background.”
